[2005/08/20]: It was a great pleasure to participate at the German Open Championships in Stuttgart. We think the other dancers agree with us when we say that Boogie Woogie was given a warm welcome by the organizers and the audience. Our congratulations goes to Sarrah and Remy who won their first World Cup after a very good performance. [Results] [Video] [Article (German)] [Article (English)]

World Cup Winterthur

[2005/06/04]: The traditional combined Boogie Woogie and Rock'n'Roll competition in Winterthur was a big success this year also. A new knock-out system was tested for the Boogie Woogie quarter finals and semi finals, and we hope it was a positive experience for the audience. We also would like to congratulate the Swedish Boogie Woogie team who had 3 couples in the final that all performed very well. [Results] [Article (Norwegian)]

IDO Swing Dance World Championships

[2004/12/11]: The organizers in Velbert, Germany, did a great job in organizing the competition. All places were sold out in the sports hall, and the ambiance was very good for the dancers. The 2004 dancing year has been like a dream come true to us, and winning the competition was the best possible way for us to end the season.

[2004/11/20]: Like every year, a huge dance-loving audience filled the Palais de Sport in Lyon for the final event in the Boogie Woogie World Cup and Rock'n'Roll World Masters series. Still not recovered from the injury in the Norwegian Championship we were especially satisfied with our final slow round. We are very proud to have won the competition and to be the overall winners of the Boogie Woogie World Cup 2004. A great thank you goes to everyone that supported us! [Articles]

Norwegian Swing Dance Championships

[2004/11/13]: To us this championship was very special and dramatic. Aina strained her thigh during the final in the show class, and it was very uncertain whether we could dance the Boogie Woogie final or not. With great support from the other dancers and the fabulous supporters from NTNUI, Aina managed to dance despite the pains. It was a great moment for us to win and to receive the Kongepokal (Royal trophy).

Broadcasted on German television, with live music and a big audience we were very satisfied with our dancing. We now look forward to the Norwegian championships in Molde and the World Cup Final in Lyon. [Articles]

Second place in Montpellier World Cup

[2004/03/27]: We were very pleased about our performance in this World Cup. The semi-final and slow final worked very well, and we were leading before the final fast round. This round was not as good as the other rounds, but the second place gives us self confidence for the next competitions.
